EOTC (ELECTRIC OVERHEAD TRAVELLING CRANES) allow the movement of load in all type of industries and application. It covers a rectangular area, moving a load side by side, backward and forward. The lifting and horizontal movement device is mounted on a bridge beam/girder of one or more horizontal girder which are supported by end carriage at the either end. The end carriage are attached at right angle to the girders and move on a fixed runway.

There are THREE main types of overhead crane available; these included SG EOTC (Single Girder Electric Overhead Travelling Crane), DG EOTC (Double Girder Electric Overhead Travelling Crane) and Underhung Travelling Crane.
